I'd rate this SP a 5 star if it weren't for the cheap tires.

Lots of Power. We had some trails in the woods that were flooded and had an inch of ice on top and I was able to drive drive through it in AWD and low gear like it was nothing. Nobody else wanted to try to go through it. The only down fall is that It warmed up this Hunting season and the wheel wells and all the small little places underneath were just filled with mud. I mean so much it was touching the tires. Other then that I would highly recommend the Cheaper then the and I don't think you will notice the 12 hp difference.

It has power to handle rough terrain but it's not an optimum hunting machine. It is too loud for hunting and it doesn't idle around at slow speed well. The differentials are noisy. Fuel consumption is higher than any other motorcycle that I have ever owned. It performs well in situations where it is being accellerated. There are wires exposed on the machine which brings concern about riding thru brush, briars and sapplings.

I can't say that I am unhappy about the purchase but it certainly wasn't what I was expecting. I guess the Honda's Ive owned in the past just have me spoiled.

Place a drain pan under the crankcase. Tip: Place a rag in the bottom of the drain plug to prevent splashing of oil. Remove the drain plug with a 6mm Allen socket. Allow the oil to drain completely. I highly recommend the factory option racks and bumpers, really improves the look and utility of the machine, while protecting it as well. Dealer installed them before I picked it up, easy as that.Registration is fast and you can even login with social network accounts to sync your profiles and content.

I know there has to be an easy adjustment to this but I cannot find it in the owners manual. Anyone know how to adjust? I don't think its adjustable without a special tool and the question is why is it low.

What year is it? Still seems the RPMs are low but it keeps running. And there is not much adjustment on that. Hey Collin thanks but I am not sure what the TPS sensor is or how to get the reading you are asking about. Should be on the side of the thotte boady with 2 screws with a 3 wire electrical conection. Be careful and do not force anything. Happy new year. So how did you fix the idle problem? I am also having a idle issue.

It will run fine but will idle for a like 15 seconds then die. It will start just fine but won't stay idling. Nam Repus Nam I changed the spark plugs and that seemed to help some. Once it is well warmed up it will idle now. I need to get out my multi meter and follow the suggestions to check the signal but since I have been doing ok as is I have not taken the time to do that yet.

We tried to remove and do a simple compression test, not so simple on a G4, with that big ass airbox you don't have no room, finnally took the big hood off, removed a bar that runs threw air box, then Jamed box back enough to to get in, removed plugs to find out they are now a smaller diameter plug and we needed a special compression tester with small plug end.

Re: etec won't idle popping and backfiring at low rpm Spark plugs, rave valves or reeds would - would be the usuals but if it runs fine at higher RPM wouldn't think the plugs or reeds would work better with RPM. Maybe try to check the solenoid by the oil reservoir that controls the rave valves to see if cable is sticking a little bit open and not building enough compression at low RPM, fart and sputter till it cleans up.
